The 200SGL1009-10X2 brush is offered as an optional upgrade modification to extend starter-generator brush life on helicopters using the Skurka 200SGL series starter generator. Initial installation must be accomplished by the SAI factory or one of their authorized service centers.  While these brushes are more expensive, the lower operating costs over time are expected to substantially lower operating costs for helicopter owners.  See SAI Service Bulletin 150SG128-1, Rev.
