Overview
Momentive™ RTV560 Series silicone sealant offers excellent adhesion to many substrates when used with primer. The silicone rubber base sealant comes in two components such as parts A and B. Part-A of sealant is colorless and part-B is red in color. The part-A has a flash point of 376 degrees F and VOC contents of 27 grams per liter. The part-B has a flash point of 212 degrees F and VOC contents of 7 grams per liter. This faint odored, liquid sealant has a specific gravity of 1.42 and comes in a 12.1-pound container. It has a tensile strength of 690 psi and withstands a temperature of -175 to 500 degrees F. This product requires 24 hours for curing and 2 hours for application.
