This two-part sealant is designed for aircraft fuel tank and fuselage applications, offering rapid curing and low odor. It maintains elastomeric properties under prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gas, cures at low temperatures, and adheres well to prepared aircraft substrates, making it suitable for various sealing needs.
WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Carbon black (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size [? 10 micrometers]), TITANIUM DIOXIDE (AIRBORNE, UNBOUND PARTICLES OF RESPIRABLE SIZE) and p-chloro-?,?,?-trifluorotoluene (para-Chlorobenzotrifluoride, PCBTF) which is [are] known to the State of California to cause cancer. Overview
PR-2001 Class B is a rapid cure, low odor, aircraft integral fuel tank, fuselage and aerodynamic smoothing sealant. This material is designed for fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications. The cured sealant maintains excellent elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to both jet fuel and aviation gas. PR-2001 Class B is a two-part, epoxy cured Permapol® P-3.1 polythioether compound. Unlike standard polysulfide fuel tank sealants, it can cure at low-temperatures and is unaffected by changes in relative humidity. This sealant has excellent adhesion to properly prepared common aircraft substrates.
Features & Benefits
Thermal rupture resistance for reliable performance
