Overview
Ardrox AV8 compound penetrates into seams, joints, and hidden cavities to displace moisture and deposit a protective film that inhibits oxidation and corrosion. It forms a soft, non-hardening, tack-free, light brown waxy film that can be used on both painted and unpainted surfaces of the airframe. AV8 combines good penetration properties with excellent corrosion-inhibiting characteristics and a low applied film weight. It can be applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying, with spray application recommended for maximum penetration capability and effective corrosion protection.
