The Chemetall Ardrox AV 8 water-displacing corrosion inhibitor forms a tack-free, waxy protective film designed to safeguard aircraft structures against severe corrosion. Engineered for deep penetration, it can be applied by dipping, brushing, or spraying, making it suitable for varied maintenance needs. This formulation provides a coverage capacity of 44 m²/L at 8 µm and performs reliably across a wide temperature spectrum. For areas subject to extreme corrosion, over-coating with Ardrox AV 100D is recommended to ensure maximum protection.
