Bonderite® C-MC 5884 Aero, also known as Turco 5884 ~MQT~, is a high-performance maintenance cleaner formulated for in-service jet engines. Part number 597177 is an amber-colored liquid that effectively removes oil, salt, and solid deposits from compressor blades, guide vanes, and rotors. Regular use of this cleaner helps prevent power loss, abnormal temperature increases, and excessive fuel consumption. With a pH range of 8.3 to 9.3, it cleans thoroughly without damaging the metal finish. The product is ash-free, has a solvent-like odor, and is readily miscible with water. It evaporates slowly, leaving no residue or stains. Bonderite® C-MC 5884 Aero is approved for use under MIL-C-85704C Type I and is listed in General Electric SPM REF No. C04-140 and Pratt & Whitney SPMC-87. It is suitable for use in aerospace maintenance environments and can be stored safely between 0°C and 60°C.
