Overview
Henkel Loctite 545 Series high lubricity anaerobic cure thread sealant has a flash point greater than 93.3 degrees C for safe use. This acrylic-based sealant has a vapor pressure less than 5 millimeters Hg at 80.6 degrees F, specific gravity of 1.02, VOC contents of 1.99%, 19.01 grams per liter and a boiling temperature rating greater than 149 degrees C. The mild odored, liquid sealant is purple in color and comes in a 50-milliliter bottle. It has a tensile strength of 20 psi and shear strength of 220 psi. The product requires 24 hours for curing. It withstands a temperature range of -65 to 300 degrees F. It is ideal for fittings up to 50 millimeters diameter along with pneumatic and hydraulic fittings.
