Overview
Henkel Loctite 271 Series anaerobic threadlocker sealant is suitable for permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. This dimethacrylate ester-based sealant has a vapor pressure less than 5 millimeters Hg at 26.7 degrees C, specific gravity of 1.1 at 25 degrees C, VOC contents of 7.81 grams per liter and a boiling temperature rating greater than 148.9 degrees C. It has a flash point greater than 93.3 degrees C TCC for safe use. The mild odored, liquid sealant is red in color and comes in a 10-milliliter bottle. It has a tensile strength of 250 psi. This product requires 24 hours for curing at 25 degrees C, 10 minutes for drying and 10 minutes for setting. It withstands a temperature range of -65 to 300 degrees F.
