Overview
Thread lubricant paste made from molybdenum disulfide and petrolatum for machine threads, tapered pipe threads, for press fit and slip fit joints. Loctite® LB 8700 is a gray, smooth thread lubricant paste formulated from molybdenum disulfide and petrolatum. Can be used on machine threads, tapered pipe threads, for press fit and slip fit joints. It is used in applications with an operating range of -20.2 to +748.4 degrees F (-29 to +398 degrees C). It has been tested to meet Military Specification MIL-PRF-83483 (this is a regional approval).
