Overview
Henkel Loctite® 5248 Series UV cure silicone sealant is off-white in color and has a vapor pressure less than 10 millimeters Hg and VOC contents of 3.75%, 39.37 grams per liter. It has a flash point greater than 93.3 degrees C for safe use. This slight alcoholic odored, liquid sealant comes in a 300-gram cartridge. The alkoxy silicone base sealant has a tensile strength of 145 psi and shear strength of 60 to 175 psi. It requires 10 to 15 second for curing.
