ITW Polymers Devcon® 5 Minute® Adhesive, 2.5 oz tube

ITW Polymers Devcon® 5 Minute® Series epoxy adhesive is a fast curing formula, specially designed by combining resin and hardener. The clear colored liquid resin has a slight odor and a 1.17 specific gravity. Clear to slight yellow colored liquid hardener of this adhesive has a mercaptan odor and a 1.13 specific gravity. The resin has a boiling point greater than 500 degrees F. Flash point of resin is greater than 400 degrees F and hardener has greater than 200 degrees F. The resin part of adhesive has a vapor density greater than 1. Hardener of the adhesive exhibits vapor pressure less than 1 millimeter Hg while resin has 0.03 millibars. It has a viscosity of 10,000 centipoises with a service temperature of -40 to 200 degrees F. This adhesive requires an application time of 3 to 6 minutes and takes 12 hours at 22.2 degrees C for complete curing. The epoxy compound exhibits peeling strength of 2 to 3 pli and a shear strength of 1900 psi. This product comes in a 2.5-ounce tube and allows an elongation of 0.01.
