Overview
Loctite 243 features a thixotropic nature that reduces the migration of the liquid product after application to the substrate, ensuring precise placement. It works effectively on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces. This threadlocker is proven to tolerate minor contamination from industrial oils, including motor oils, corrosion prevention oils, and cutting fluids. For applications where cure speed is unacceptably long or large gaps are present, applying an activator to the surface will improve the cure speed.
