Overview
LPS® KB-88 Series ultimate penetrant is specially formulated to quickly release corroded and frozen components. This hydrocarbon-like, odored penetrant has a boiling point of 212 degrees F and a tag closed cup flashpoint of 159.8 degrees F. It has a viscosity of 1 centistoke at 20 degrees C and a specific gravity of 0.88 at 23 degrees C. The product exhibits low surface tension and a solvency value of 151. It operates at temperature rating of -40 to 300 degrees F. This aggressive formula allows it to penetrate faster and deeper. The liquid penetrant is clear red in color and comes in a 13-ounce aerosol can.
