Overview

3M™ 2141 Series rubber and gasket adhesive sticks neoprene, SBR, butyl and other types of rubbers to other various substrates. It offers excellent resistance to fuel, heat, chemical and oil, making it suitable for use in harsh environments. The sweet petroleum odored liquid adhesive is tan in color and comes in a 1-quart can. It has a boiling point of greater than or equal to 56 degrees C and a flash point of -4 degrees F. The high-performance polychloroprene-based adhesive has viscosity of 900 to 1500 cP at 73.4 degrees F. This adhesive forms a stronger bond in a less time of 15 minutes. It can be applied by brushing or can be sprayed for quick as well as precise application.
