This aerosol dry lubricant features a fluorocarbon formulation similar to Teflon, suitable for temperatures from cryogenic levels to 240°F. It offers low friction, excellent anti-stick properties, and effective release for various materials, including wood, plastic, and metal. The product is chemically inert and non-conductive, making it versatile for multiple applications. This
Zip-Chem D-5440NS Fluorocarbon Dry Lubricant is a fluorocarbon telomer chemically similar to Teflon* PTFE-fluorocarbon resin. Due to its chemical inertness and ability to withstand temperatures from the cryogenic range up to 240F (116 C), this fluorocarbon finds many uses not offered by other materials. Zip-Chem D-5440NS fluorocarbon in aerosol form is designed primarily for use as a dry film lubricant or mold release where the application is to a cold or warm surface (less than 240F). It is formulated to give the highest adhesion possible to the substrate and still give good release or lubricating properties. • Low coefficient of friction • Excellent anti-stick properties. • Effective release agent for epoxies, polyurethanes, etc. • Will not run or stain • Excellent dry film lubricant for wood, plastic, rubber, paper and metal. • Non-conductive, chemically inert in use. Conforms To: SCE 898-13117; UAL LUB 4500-1750 NSN:9150-00-989-2021 QPL: DMS 1762 Type 7E - Teflon Lube DPM 3494 - Release Agent
