Overview

PPG PRC-Desoto® PR-1440 Series fuel tank sealant is a two-component formulation such as part-A and part-B. Part-A of sealant comes in a liquid form and is black in color. Part-B of sealant comes in a liquid form and is white in color. The part-A of sealant has a boiling point of 360 degrees C and part-B has greater than 37.78 degrees C. Part-B has a flash point of 16.67 degrees C and a VOC content of 148 grams per liter. Relative density of part-A sealant is 1.88 while part-B possesses 1.48. Kinematic viscosity of part-A/B sealant is greater than 0.21 square centimeters per second at 40 degrees C. It comes in a pint container.
