SP-116-13 is a proprietary blend of cleaning solvent and surfactant in a water-based solution. SP-116-13 is specially blended to prevent optical distortion on the windshield, so that vision is not impaired during flight. Part number SP-116-13=31 can also be used for manual cleaning of aircraft external glass surfaces.
It is designed to remove atmospheric soils, light oils and other common soils. The windshield cleaner can be applied manually by hand-help pressure spray, or through automatic windshield washing systems.
