Purogene is a highly refined blend of oxychloro species containing purified sodium chorite. When activated, chlorine dioxide is produced to greatly enhance antimicrobial activity. Purogene displays broad spectrum antimicrobial activity, proven effective against E. Coli 0157:H7, Salmonella, Listeria, Staphylococcus, Aspergillus and Pseudomonas, Legionella and others. Shown to be efective than other common sanitizers including quaternary ammonia, lodophors, Peracetic acid and sodium hypochlorite (chlorine).

The one (1) gallon jug of Purogene treats 200 gallons. Sixteen (16) ounces of citric acid or Purogene activator is required. It is recommended to order one 4 lb. tub of Citric Acid Activator or one box of Citric Acid Activator. Each tub will yield 64 ounces of Activator. Each packet within a box yields two ounces.
