Nycoprotec 05 is an ISO VG 220 petroleum oil ; it is based on a mineral piston engine oil fortified with a corrosion-inhibiting additive package. May be applied by spraying or brushing on external components ; internal components are usually drained prior to use.

Applications:
• Temporary preservation of reciprocating piston aircraft engines
• Preservation of helicopter gearboxes during storage
• Preservation from corrosion of aircraft components during storage
