Huntsman Epocast® 1619 Series epoxy adhesive is a low-density, flame-retardant compound containing liquid part-A/paste and liquid part-B. The gray colored part-A component has a slight odor whereas amber colored part-B component has an amine like odor. Flash point of part-A is greater than 278.6 degrees F and part-B is greater than 244.4 degrees F. Both the part-A and part-B of adhesive has a relative density of 0.7 and 0.98 respectively. The viscosity of part-A compound is 38,000 centipoises and part-B is 1000 centipoises. The service temperature range of this adhesive is 35.6 to 104 degrees F. It requires an application time of 20 to 50 minutes and takes 7 days for complete curing. This product comes in a 1-quart jar kit and withstands a shear strength of 1250 psi at 77 degrees F.
