Huntsman CG 1305 Series flame-retardant epoxy adhesive is a medium-density, two-compartment formula including resin and hardener. The white colored liquid resin has a slight odor whereas amber colored liquid hardener has an amine like odor. Both the resin and hardener has a boiling point greater than 392 degrees F. Flash point of this adhesive is greater than 302 degrees F for resin and 244.4 degrees F for hardener. Both the resin and hardener has a density of 0.83 grams per cubic centimeter and 0.98 grams per cubic centimeter respectively. The resin has a viscosity of 90,000 centipoises and hardener has 450 centipoises. The service temperature range of this adhesive is 60 to 90 degrees F. It requires an application time greater than 60 minutes and takes 1 to 7 days at 77 degrees F for complete curing. This adhesive comes in a 50-gram jar kit and withstands a shear strength of 1500 psi at 77 degrees F.
