Alkasol® 27 removes the coatings rapidly and prepares the surfaces for subsequent steps such as solvent wiping, abrading and alkaline cleaning. Alkasol® 27 may be sprayed undiluted onto the coated surfaces without prior mixing. low-pressure hose rinsing removes the dissolved coating materials. The product has a low, non-irritating odor, eliminating problems for personnel usually associated with aircraft stripping operations.
