Lamar Technologies 8612-2120, a 12 inches bearing thermistor is a spring loaded and pressed on the outside of the bearing and sense temperature. The 135 degree bearing thermistor is designed to measure the temperature of the bearing and provide feedback to a control system. By monitoring the resistance of the thermistor, the control system can determine the temperature of the bearing.
