The McFarlane Engine Heater Kit, Safe-Heet, is designed for efficient preheating of aircraft engines in cold weather, enhancing engine longevity. This thin, flexible silicone pad bonds permanently to the engine oil sump and is FAA-PMA approved for Continental, Lycoming, and Franklin engines. Utilizing approximately 300 Watts, it warms engine oil from subzero temperatures to safe starting levels in under an hour, ensuring optimal heat transfer and safety with features like a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI).
