3M™ Scotch-Weld™ structural adhesive primer EC-3917 help ensure complete wetting of the film adhesive system to bonding surfaces and improves durability of the bonded structure. It helps simplify production scheduling by protecting the cleaned surface until the bonding operations can be completed. With its sprayable consistency, EC-3917 is capable of high transfer efficiency for less overspray waste. When cured it promotes long-term durability for bonded joints. This aerospace primer can be co-cured with epoxy-based adhesive films at 250 deg F or 350 deg F to accommodate a variety of requirements and lessen the burden on inventory.
