PPG Aerospace/PRC DeSoto® Epoxy Primer Clear Aluminized Base/Thinner/Curing Solution 6-piece Kit 6qt 519X303

PPG PRC-Desoto epoxy adhesive is formulated to provide aggressive adhesion with immense resistance to fluid and corrosion. This product comes in a 6-quart kit and covers an area up to 6.5 square meters per liter at 25 micron dry film. 519X303 can be used over aluminum and composite surfaces.

Mix Rate By Volume:

* 519X303 (base component): 3 parts
* 910X357 (activator component): 1 part
* 020X32(thinner component): 2 parts

Features:

• Mixing ratio of base, activator and thinner is 3:1:2
• Cures at room temperature to eliminate need for added process steps
• Thinner component has VOC level of 820 grams per liter and curing solution has 744 grams per liter

• Boiling point: 79.44 - 148.89°C for 020X324 thinner component, 82.22 - 316.11°C for 910X357 curing solution and greater than 37.78°C for 519X303 base component
• Flash point: 13.89°C for 020X324 thinner component, 2.78°C for 910X357 curing solution and -4.44°C for 519X303 base component
• Density of 6.84 lb/gal for thinner component, 7.01 lb/gal for curing solution, 8.51 lb/gal for base component and 1.44 g/c³ for dry film
• Viscosity: Greater than 0.21 cm² per sec at 40°C
• Temperature range: up to 204°C (400°F)
• Cure time: 14 days and dries between 30 to 60 minutes at 75°F
• Pot life: 10 hours at 21 - 25°C
