Artex 453-5012 Emergency Locator Transmitter Main Assembly, G406-4 ELT

453-5012 Artex Main Assembly of G406-4 ELT is designed for communicating on all three emergency frequencies: 121.5, 243.0, and 406 MHz. It automatically activates during a crash and sends a 406 MHz digital message to global search and rescue satellites, enabling local first responders to quickly identify crash location.
G406-4 meets the rigorous TSO C126 standards, including tests for 500 G shock, 1000-pound crush, flame, and vibration. It offers reliable performance under extreme conditions, enhancing safety during emergencies.

G406-4 works with Artex’s low-cost whip antennas or a durable fiberglass rod antenna. It can be connected to an optional ELT/NAV Interface, allowing the transmission of latitude and longitude data, further enhancing the accuracy of the 406 MHz emergency message.
