Part number 4000 is battery connector. The connector is similar to the Rebling 7007 model and features a 4-wire design that can be connected to any MS3509 receptacle. It is designed as a quick disconnect with self-aligning sockets to withstand the vibrations and stresses experienced during take-offs, landings, and flight. The socket has an enlarged contact area, resulting in minimal electrical loss, low impedance, and low insertion force.
The 4000 model is a quick disconnect plug that can be easily engaged with the battery receptacle by rotating the handles clockwise, locking it securely in place. To unlock the unit, the handles are rotated in a counterclockwise direction. The positive and negative terminals are conveniently located on either side of the unit, and the cable entry holes are positioned horizontally. Polarity markings on the outside and inside of the unit ensure correct electrical connections and prevent any mistakes. It is comparable to the MS25182-2 and Elcon BD6-3.
