Loctite 222MS is a low strength, small screw, Mil-Spec purple threadlocker ideal for fastener diameters of 1/4" (6mm) and smaller. Its controlled lubricity allows for accurate clamp loads. Particularly suitable for applications such as adjustment of set screws, small diameter or long engagement length fasteners, where easy disassembly is required without shearing the screw. The thixotropic nature of Loctite 222MS reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate. It is good for use with low strength metals such as aluminum or brass. Where cure speed is unacceptably long, or large gaps are present, applying activator to the surface will improve cure speed. Recommended activators are Activator SF 7471 and SF 7649.

Loctite 222MS Features:

  • Reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate
