It bonds permanently to a large variety of surfaces including rubber, fabrics, gaskets, seals and metal. The weatherstripping adhesive is very easy to use. 3M Yellow Super Weatherstrip and Gasket Adhesive can also be used for securing paper, cork or rubber gaskets, or to bond vinyl headliners and side panels. It applies most effectively when used with 3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner 08984 or 3M Gasket Prep and Parts Cleaner 08901.
