3M™ Scotch-Weld™ DP125 Series epoxy adhesive is a two-part room temperature curable epoxy that stays strong even under expansion and contraction. The high peel strength offers better resistance to vibration. This adhesive consists of base and accelerator, which is mixed in 1:1 ratio for better results. It has a flash point of 305 degrees F for part-A and greater than or equal to 480 degrees F for part-B. This adhesive has a density of 1.17 grams per milliliter for part-B and 1.03 grams per milliliter for part-A. It has a viscosity of 42,000 centipoises for part-A and 13,000 centipoises for part-B. This product has a service temperature rating of 60 to 80 degrees F. It should be applied on surface within 20 to 30 minutes from mixing to ensure better positioning and adjustment prior to setting. The adhesive ensures a tensile strength of 2500 psi and a shear strength of 2500 psi. This medium viscosity adhesive reduces running, dripping or migration while ensuring smooth flow. This product comes in a 50-milliliter duo-pak cartridge and allows an elongation of 150%. The liquid adhesive has a slight amine odored part-A in light amber color and a slight epoxy odored part-B in translucent color.
