3M™ Scotch-Weld™ structural adhesive primer EC-1945-B/A is a two part kit (base and accelerator). Our chemical curing primer is also corrosion-resistant. Its formula helps improve adhesion of sealers, epoxies, and urethanes to most metals. It cures at room temperature (75 degrees F) and offers a long application time to enable a variety of application methods. EC-1945 B/A Structural Adhesive Primer requires no diluent, which helps eliminate guess work and the expense of additional chemicals. Our two part chemically curing, corrosion-resistant primer is designed for use with 3M™ Aerospace adhesives. EC-1945 B/A primer improves adhesion of epoxies and urethanes to most metals as well as offering increased corrosion protection. EC-1945 B/A primer can be applied by dipping, brushing or spraying. Our formula provides corrosion protection inside and outside the bondline. EC-1945-B/A can be used to apply anti-corrosion coating on components. The stable coating also protects etched and anodized substrates for long term storage.
