3M™ Scotch-Weld™ 1838L Series structural epoxy adhesive is a two-part flowable translucent epoxy offering high shear strength. This adhesive consists of base and accelerator, which is mixed in 1:1 ratio for better results. It has a boiling point greater than or equal to 250 degrees F for part-A and greater than or equal to 300 degrees F for part-B. The flash point is greater than 93.3 degrees C for part-A and 248 degrees C for part-B. This product has a viscosity of 9500 centistokes for part-A and 9610 centistokes for part-B. It takes a curing time of 7 days at 24 degrees C, 2 hours at 65 degrees C and 30 minutes at 100 degrees C. The adhesive should be applied on surface within 60 minutes from mixing to ensure better positioning and adjustment prior to setting. It ensures a shear strength of 2500 psi. This product comes in a 2-fluid ounce kit and ensures greater resistance to chemicals. This liquid adhesive has an amine odored part-A and an epoxy odored part-B in clear color.

Features:

  • Creates rigid bonds for reliable adhesion
