3M™ Scotch-Weld™ CA8 Series clear contact adhesive has a specific gravity of 1.05 and a viscosity of 70 to 130 centipoises. The liquid adhesive has a sharp/irritating odor and comes in a 1-pound container. It resists shear strength of 900 psi at 75 degrees F. The ethyl-based adhesive has a flash point of 174 degrees F and a boiling point greater than 190 degrees F.
