Our premium performance 3M™ PTFE glass cloth tape 5453 has a brown, woven glass cloth backing impregnated with PTFE. This tape provides a slick surface on process machinery and offers an extremely low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a non-stick surface that performs at elevated temperatures. 3M™ PTFE glass cloth tape 5453 offers exceptional performance and is resistant to most chemicals. It's unbeatable quality provides a slick surface, high tensile strength, puncture and abrasion-resistant properties. The cloth tape also provides long-lasting, easy release performance on heat sealing machines and process equipment. The tape can also be used to keep production moving smoothly through conveying chutes, troughs and ducts.
