Frequently asked questions and answers
Introducing the Boeing Distribution unified site
What is the Boeing Distribution unified website?
Boeing is modernizing and integrating our distribution e-commerce sites, creating a stronger foundation for future growth alongside our customers. The Boeing Distribution unified site brings together offerings from the original Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services sites. We continuously improve the unified site based on user feedback and customer needs, making it easier to complete tasks, and meet aviation goals.
Why is this important?
Our goal is to simplify your interactions with Boeing Distribution by modernizing the e-commerce experience and consolidating the full product catalog in one easy-to-use platform.
When did the Boeing Distribution unified website officially launch?
We began piloting the unified website in December 2024. We officially launched to all customers in November 2025, encouraging users to migrate from the original sites to the new experience. As of March 30, 2026, the original sites have retired.
What do I need to know?
Original sites for Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services have retired and are no longer accessible. All products and services are now listed on the unified website’s expansive catalog.
In order to access the unified website, customer accounts from the original sites must be migrated using the Migration Manager tool. Once migrated, users’ account data and order history will be accessible from the account icon (top navigation bar) when authenticated on the unified site.
Distribution customers will use their Boeing OneLogin credentials to access the unified site.
Commercial customers will use their AviationID login credentials to access the unified site.

Platform features and system integration
What features can I expect from the Boeing Distribution unified website?
You can expect to find all the features you are accustomed to from the existing Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services sites, plus several enhancements. Visit our Site Updates page to learn more.
I get Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services easily confused. How can I tell them apart?
With the Boeing Distribution unified website, both entities contribute to the e-commerce experience. Product listings are currently handled by one entity or the other.
As we work toward a more streamlined experience, the distinction between “Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall)” and “Boeing Distribution Services” may become less relevant. We appreciate your patience as we work to simplify our processes.
Why do I have to place separate orders for Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services items?
Currently, Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services operate as separate legal entities with different:
· Sales and customer service teams
· Invoicing systems
· Purchase order processing
We’re working toward more streamlined, unified ordering. For now, you must:
· Place separate orders for each entity
· Manage separate invoices
What about my APIs? Will they still work?
Yes, your existing APIs will continue to be active.
General information and customer transition
What happens to my current Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and/or Boeing Distribution Services account?
Your Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services accounts must be migrated to the new experience. Through our Migration Manager tool, you will be set up with Boeing OneLogin credentials. This secure process migrates your account data, history and preferences and grants you authenticated access to the Boeing Distribution unified website.
Why do I see different prices for the same product in the unified catalog? Can I purchase the products at the lower price I see on Boeing Distribution Services?
Although the website hosts a unified product catalog for Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services, they remain two separate business entities and may differentiate pricing on select products. We are working toward streamlined pricing to provide users with the same pricing regardless of the business entity.
Will my order history and saved items be available on the new website?
Yes. Your account data, order history, and saved items will be migrated to the new account experience on the Boeing Distribution website.

Is it possible to use the original Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services website login credentials on the new unified site, or do users need to change their login?
All users are required to transition to Boeing OneLogin. Your username (email) may remain the same, but you will be required to create a new password that corresponds with your Boeing OneLogin. For more information about Boeing OneLogin, visit our Login FAQs.
What happens if I only have an account with Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) or Boeing Distribution Services? Will I automatically get access to both product lines?
If you only have a Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) account, you will only see corresponding product pricing and availability. You will be able to view Boeing Distribution Services listings, but you must request a Boeing Distribution Services account to access pricing and availability for those products. Account creation is by request only. For users with only a Boeing Distribution Services account, the reverse applies to Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) listings.
How does login work for commercial users with AviationID accounts?
Commercial users can log in to the unified site with their AviationID credentials which link to their Boeing OneLogin, allowing access to multiple Boeing sites including Boeing Distribution. For more information about Boeing OneLogin, review our Login FAQs.
Product information, availability, and ordering
Is pre-order or back-order available for out-of-stock products?
- If you have a Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) account, you may place back-orders for BDI products.
- If you have a Boeing Distribution Services account, your account must be provisioned to place pre-orders on out-of-stock products. Contact your assigned customer service or sales representative to request pre-order capability.
Why doesn’t the product I'm searching for appear? Do I need to remove dashes from part numbers (e.g. A-3074) for better results?
The onsite search engine is continuously being optimized to support part number formats with dashes, slashes, and other separators or symbols. To improve search results, try removing separators or symbols (e.g., A3074 instead of A-3074).
Parts that were available on the original websites aren't showing up on the Boeing Distribution unified site. Why?
We’re continuously updating and improving the unified catalog. If you cannot find a part, please report the specific part numbers to our development team for immediate addition by clicking the Give Feedback tab on the right side of your screen at shop.boeing.com/distribution.
Can I access Commercial Spares on the Boeing Distribution unified site to purchase a part?
You can view Commercial Spares (Boeing PART Page) products on the unified website when you are not logged in. Only customers with an AviationID can view and purchase Commerical Spares via Boeing PART Page.
Why can’t I purchase parts from Boeing Distribution Services on the Boeing Distribution unified site?
If your account is only associated with Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall), you can only view basic information on listings from Boeing Distribution Services. You must have accounts with both business entities to purchase from both.
If your account is with Boeing Distribution Services and you cannot find a product, try removing any separators or symbols from your search query (e.g., dashes and slashes). If that does not resolve the issue, please report the product by clicking the Give Feedback tab on the right side of your screen at shop.boeing.com/distribution.
Will manually placed orders in SAP be reflected online for access to paperwork?
Yes. All ERP data, including manually placed orders and EDI orders, are pulled into the unified website and available for customers to view invoices, packing slips, and safety data sheets regardless of how the order was entered.
Can I see and select shelf-life information for parts on the unified website?
Yes, shelf-life information and selection functionality is available on the unified website.
Is the unified search capable of showing parts from both Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) and Boeing Distribution Services?
Yes. The unified search engine brings together listings from both business entities.
If your account is associated with only one business entity (Boeing Distribution (formerly Aviall) or Boeing Distribution Services), you will only see the corresponding product pricing and availability. You will also be able to view basic information on listings from the other entity.
