Overview
Shim is a corrosion resisting steel component, part number 1-180-128-01, designed for use in various aircraft applications including turbo-prop engines. This shim features laminated construction with a quantity of 10 laminations and a nominal lamination thickness of 0.003 inches. The shim is designed with an aperture diameter of 0.250 inches nominal, and an outside diameter that ranges between 0.360 inches minimum and 0.370 inches maximum. Its nonseparable design ensures consistent performance under operational conditions.
