Overview
TECTYL™ 502C1 corrosion preventive compound TECTYL502C1GL, is a solvent cutback, soft wax-based formulation designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous parts during indoor or covered storage and shipment. It cures to a dark amber, transparent, soft greasy film, ensuring reliable protection against rust. TECTYL 502-C meets the performance requirements of Military Specification MIL-C-16173E (1993), Grade 2 Class 1. It is ready to use without thinning and can be applied by low-pressure air spray or dipping.
