Overview
Sermetel® W is a single-component, water-based protective coating formulated with aluminum powder and phosphoric acid solution. It provides a thermal barrier and corrosion resistance for metal substrates exposed to elevated temperatures and abrasive conditions. Commonly used for engine accessory components, exhaust housings, mounting brackets, and heat-affected areas during repair, this coating ensures durability in harsh aerospace environments. It is supplied ready to use and can be applied by spray or brush, followed by air drying and heat curing for optimal performance.
