Overview
Concorde RG-380E/60K is platinum series aircraft battery. Concorde's recombinant gas (RG®) Turbine Starting aircraft batteries utilize advanced lead acid, absorbed glass mat (AGM) technology. These batteries are designed to capture and recycle emitted gas, resulting in reduced maintenance requirements and longer battery lifespan. The sealed construction of RG batteries allows for safe shipping without hazardous material surcharges. They are FAA TSO approved for various general aviation applications. The RG-380E/60k Monoblock model consists of twelve 2-volt cells connected in series, enclosed by a durable one-piece plastic container and top made of high impact polypropylene. The electrolyte, a sulfuric acid and water solution, is absorbed within the battery plates and separators, eliminating the presence of free electrolyte. The Concorde turbine starting battery excels in performance at low temperatures, ensures safe operation in high temperatures, and can handle multiple engine starts with short flight durations. The RG-380E/60K model features a fire-resistant powdered coated aluminum container and cover with integrated side louvered vents, along with fabric lifting straps and a hold-down bar attached to the cover.
