P/S 870 PS870B12-6OZ is a two‑part, manganese dioxide‑cured polysulfide sealant formulated to provide long‑term corrosion protection for aluminum alloys and dissimilar metals used in aircraft construction. Its cured material maintains elastomeric properties after limited exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline. This Class B‑12 formulation provides a 12‑hour application life, making it ideal for large‑surface sealing tasks, structural joints, and corrosion‑control sealing. The uncured sealant is a low‑sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application using an extrusion gun or spatula. Supplied in a 6 oz kit, it supports medium‑volume aerospace maintenance and assembly operations.
