Overview
Univar Solutions® Prist® Hi-Flash Hi-Flo™ Fuel Additive PHF204 is a clear, high-performance aviation chemical formulated to protect turbine aircraft fuel systems from ice crystal formation. Ice crystals in fuel tanks can block fuel lines or filters, leading to engine failure. Prist® Hi-Flash prevents this by depressing the freezing point of water in jet fuel, ensuring uninterrupted fuel flow even in severe cold. It also eliminates microbial growth within the fuel system, reducing contamination risks. This additive is fully authorized under MIL-DTL-85470 and ASTM D4171 standards for use in civilian and military jet fuels as a fuel system icing inhibitor. With a boiling point of 193–194°C, flash point of 83.9–91°C, and auto-ignition temperature of 215°C, Prist® Hi-Flash is safe and easy to handle. It is recommended for every refueling at a dosage rate of 0.1%–0.15% by volume. The Hi-Flo™ formulation is optimized for faster over-wing fueling operations with flow rates of 40–55 GPM, making it ideal for high-demand aviation environments. Packaged in a convenient 20 oz aerosol can, Prist® Hi-Flash combines safety, efficiency, and compliance for reliable aircraft performance.
