Overview
Service Letter [Y2-01-0037(A) – Model 316 Power Unit] The model 315 Power Unit, (P4-01-0030) used in the model EF-2C rechargeable flashlight system is no longer available. It has been replaced by the model 316 power unit (P4-01-1003-001). The 315 used Niad cells and it's replacement, model 316, uses NiMH cells. Th operation and functional characteristics are the same. The batteries are considered to be fully interchangeable. For more information, see Astronics DME Service Letter Y2-01-0037 Rev. A, dated January 6, 2010.
