Service Letter [Y2-01-0037(A) – Model 316 Power Unit] The Power Unit Model 315, Part Number P4-01-0030 used in the Model EF-2C Rechargeable Flashlight System is no longer available. It has been replaced with Model 316, Part Number P4-01-1003-001. The diffCerence is in the batteries. The 315 uses Niad cells and the replacement 316 uses NiMH cells. Otherwise, their operation and functional characteristics are the same. The batteries are considered to be fully interchangeable.
