Overview

Nycoprotec 05 NP05-24, is a petroleum-based mineral oil fortified with a corrosion-inhibiting additive package. It is ideal for temporary preservation of reciprocating piston aircraft engines, helicopter gearboxes, and other aircraft components during storage. This oil can be applied by spraying or brushing on external components, while internal components are typically drained prior to use. Nycoprotec 05 meets stringent aerospace and military specifications, including NATO Code C-609, MIL-C-6529C Type II Amd.2, and AIR 1503/B Type B, and is listed in Airbus Helicopters CM165 and CM524.
