This dehydrator plug is designed for 18 mm spark plug holes in aircraft piston engines. It contains MIL-D-3716 Desiccant to absorb moisture and prevent corrosion during inactivity. The plug can be unscrewed for desiccant replacement, and it is packaged with 80 plugs per can. A moisture indicator is also available.

Overview
MS27215-2 Dehydrator Plug is designed to screw into 18 mm spark plug hole of aircraft piston engines. Each plug is filled with MIL-D-3716 Desiccant which removes moisture, thus preventing corrosion damage during periods of inactivity. Plugs unscrew so that desiccant can be replaced. Similar to AN4062-1. 80 Plugs per can. Also consider using the MS20003 moisture indicator - a small card that indicates high humidity.
