Overview
This compound forms an effective, long-lasting barrier against common causes of corrosion, particularly in assemblies exposed to humidity, stress, and vibration. Its unique characteristics make it ideal for protecting non-permanent assemblies, threaded joints, and fasteners that may require future disassembly or maintenance. The thixotropic paste consistency allows for easy application by brush or spatula without migration, and it cures at room temperature. Mastinox D40 maintains its performance over a service temperature range of up to 200°C (392°F).
