UltraLyte® PCA Duct, 14"X20', SC/MV

ABC Industries, Inc.?s revolutionary UltraLyte? PCA ducting is the ultimate combination of lightweight convenience and heavy-duty performance. Specially designed for the rigors of the airline industry, reinforced seams are lockstitched with high strength Nylon thread to prevent unraveling. The durable fabrics prevent wicking and do not degrade when exposed to Skydrol. UltraLyte? is constructed with an integral internal flap that seals at ducting connection points and reduces air loss. These unique features result in superior service life and cost savings over the product lifecycle.

OUTER SHELL
The high strength yellow ballistic Nylon outer shell is urethane coated for 2.5 times better abrasion resistance than any lightweight PCA ducting available today. The fabric is resistant to the usual degrading effects of Glycol Alcohol (Skydrol) exposure. Additionally, the outer shell is UV stabilized for protection against harmful sun degradation and treated for mold and mildew resistance.

INSULATION LAYER
The middle layer is a patented polypropylene fabric that is metalized on one side for superb radiant heat insulation. Its unique construction allows the material to flex without cracking or flaking. The material is also designed to inhibit growth of fungi and bacteria.

INNER LINER
The light-colored, high strength inner liner in constructed from a urethane-coated Nylon material treated for mold and mildew resistance. The tightly woven, rip-resistant fabric is specially designed to withstand delamination and endure the heavy wear associated with the airline industry.

End Finishes
ATTACHED SOFT CUFF
The soft cuff is comprised of a double layer of appropriate fabric that is attached to a standard ducting end. This additional fabric provides extra coupling flexibility for a variety of attachments.
VELCRO? CUFF
The Velcro? cuff features exterior flaps that wrap around the ducting connection point and secure with hook and loop to the female end. The improved design offers GSE professionals easier access and fastening ability at connection points.
