Av-DEC® Hi-Tak® TufSeal™ HT3000-100 is a pre-cured, single-sided polyurethane rolled sealant designed for corrosion prevention and moisture-proofing of irregular surfaces in aircraft structures. It creates a protective seal against moisture ingress, reducing costly corrosion-related repairs.
This sealant tape is supplied in a convenient roll form and can be applied without special installation equipment or tooling. It is designed to peel off in large strips during maintenance, leaving no residue and minimizing downtime. Featuring a fiberglass carrier for durability and an integrated PTFE backing for enhanced abrasion resistance, it facilitates the placement and removal of panels. The tape demonstrates excellent adhesion to itself (cohesion) and is ideal for sealing and moisture-proofing irregular surfaces. Common applications include under floorboards, panel sealing, under lavatories and galleys, under door sills, and on stringers.
