Overview
The PED Fire-Safe mitigates the dangers that lithium battery-operated electronic devices pose to the aviation industry. • Contains a fire threat and resultant smoke. Has the ability to contain temperatures in excess of 3000° F. • Allows for relocation of fire threat away from passengers, crew and flight sensitive areas. • Suppresses the fire within the PED Fire-Safe automatically. • The PED Fire-Safe has an internal temperature indication system which supplies real time internal temperature conditions to crew members. • Specifically designed for the Aviation Industry, incorporating several fail-safe design features. • The PED Fire-Safe is easily trained and quickly deployed in emergency situations. • The PED Fire-Safe is adaptable to handle different types, sizes and shapes of lithium battery powered devices. • Effectively contains and fi lters the resultant and extremely toxic lithium smoke. • Automatically deploys an FAA recommended aqueous extinguishing agent to cool and suppress. • Self-monitoring Temperature Indication System—allows crew members to concentrate on safely operating the aircraft while ensuring the safe continuation of flight.
